BLOOMINGTON, Ca. – A 43-year-old Lake Elsinore was struck and killed while walking in the lanes of the 10 freeway on Saturday.
At around 7:17 p.m. a 33-year-old Riverside man was driving his 2008 Jeep Wrangler on the 10 freeway westbound, west of Cedar Avenue. As he continued on he stuck a pedestrian who was walking in the westbound lanes. The pedestrian died as a result of his injuries at the scene. It is unknown why the pedestrian was in the lanes of traffic when he was struck by the vehicle.
The identity of the man has not being released so that his family can first be notified. The collision remains under investigation, anyone who has any information should contact Officer K DeMartino at the San Bernardino CHP office (909)383-4247
