LUDLOW – Authorities are asking for the public’s help to identify the suspect involved in the burglary of the Dairy Queen located off of the I-40.

On Monday, July 9, 2018, at around 2:39 a.m. deputies from the Barstow Station responded to the Dairy Queen located at 26535 Crucero Road, near Interstate 40 for the report of a burglary. When deputies arrived they learned that the unknown male suspect used a tire iron to force entry through the drive-through window of the Dairy Queen. Once inside, the suspect used the tire iron to pry open a locked desk to remove over $25,000 in cash from a deposit bag and cash drawers. The tire iron was left at the scene and the suspect fled the scene in a newer model red sedan with chrome rims and tinted windows.
