FARMINGTON, Calif. – A Stockton man is wanted for the murder of his 24-year-old girlfriend authorities said.
On Monday, April 8, 2019, at around 2:00 a.m. a deceased female was found in a gold colored 4-door Toyota Corolla. The vehicle was found on the shoulder of Milton Road near Highway 4 in Farmington. At around 2:50 a.m. deputies arrived to confirm there was a deceased woman inside the vehicle. Homicide investigators responded to the scene to investigate. The vehicle that was learned to be registered to Beranea Moreno, was towed to Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Coroner Facility with the female still inside in order to preserve evidence.
An autopsy was performed and it was determined that she was murdered. The murder suspect has been identified as 30-year-old Jose Manuel Gonzalez Silva. He is believed to be driving a lowered dark blue GMC Yukon with black rims. Prior to the homicide Detectives believe Silva and Moreno were in an intimate relationship living together in Stockton.
