JENSEN BEACH, Fl. – Marin County Sheriff’s are asking for help to identify a modern-day Hamburglar.
The suspect has recently broke into restaurants, ate, and then walked out with his appetite for food and his appetite for thievery both satisfied. This Hamburglar has forced his way into two restaurants, both times, cooking himself a meal.
Using a brick to smash a glass door he entered the Wendy’s on Jensen Beach Boulevard. He immediately went to the kitchen and cooked himself a hamburger. After filling his belly, he grabbed the safe and left. He also was involved in the burglary of a second restaurant in downtown Jensen Beach and a full-service gas station, which he was unable to get into.
Authorities said that he has a tattoo on his left upper arm area. He is described as a heavy-set white male, believed to be in his mid 30’s, with facial hair and is approximately 6 ft. tall. He was wearing a tan ball cap, black tank top, khaki colored shorts, and flip flops.
Those living in the Jensen Beach or surrounding areas keep an eye out for the suspect and if you see him call the Marin County Sheriff’s office.
