LUCERNE VALLEY – Homicide detectives are investigating the murder of a 58-year-old Victorville woman found deceased in Lucerne Valley last week.
On Thursday, September 6, 2018, at around 8:57 p.m. Victor Valley deputies responded to the desert area South of Waverly Road in Lucerne Valley after receiving the report of a deceased woman found. Homicide investigators were called in to assume the investigation. It was determined that the deceased woman was 58-year-old Marion Russell, who was reported missing to the Victor Valley Station on Tuesday, September 4, 2018.
No suspects have been identified or arrested at this time. The investigation is ongoing. No further information is available for release at this time.
