VICTORVILLE – A Victorville woman was arrested after a traffic stop for suspected altered vehicle registration tags.
Britney Nicole Sahagun, 29, of Victorville, was stopped in the 15700 block of Eto Camino Road in the City of Victorville on September 6, 2018, at around 11:41 a.m. During the stop of the 1992 Toyota, the deputy conducted a records check and confirmed that the vehicle tags were in fact, stolen. The deputy also learned that Sahagun was wanted for six outstanding theft-related warrants.
Sahagun was booked into the West Valley Detention Center as a result of the warrants. Sahagun waived jail video arraignment and the court entered a not guilty plea on her behalf. The defense requested an OR (Own Recognizance) release, but the judge denied that request and set bail at $25,000. Sahagun remains at the West Valley Detention Center and is due back at the Victorville Superior Court on Wednesday, September 12, 2018.
