ARCADIA, Calif. – Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide detectives and Arcadia Police are seeking information about a murder investigation.

At around 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 9, 2019, police officers responded to a home in the 300 block of East Forest Avenue in Arcadia for the report of a woman down at the location. Upon arrival, it was learned that the 76-year-old Asian female was found unconscious in the backyard of her home. The woman was determined to be deceased at the scene.

The name of the woman is not being released at this time so that family can be notified. The cause of death will be determined by the LA County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner. The motive is not known at this time and there is no suspect information. The victim’s 2005 Lexus RX 300 white CA License plate #5LOG473.
