BARSTOW – A woman lost her life after being struck by a vehicle on Friday, officials said. Authorities said that at around 1:20 p.m. 48-year-old Barstow resident, Annette Marie Threadgill was crossing northbound on Main Street when she was hit by a truck turning left onto Main Street from Muriel Drive.
Emergency personnel responded to the report and the woman was taken Barstow Community Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries just before 2:20 p.m.
Threadgill was reported to be in the crosswalk at the time of the incident. The incident remains under investigation by the Barstow Police Department.
