VICTORVILLE –  Everyone and their friends are invited to the High Desert Homeless Services Bunco fundraiser set to be held on Saturday, September 9, 2017, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The fun event will be coming to Trinity Lutheran Church, located at 16138 Molino Drive in the City of Victorville.

The all-inclusive price of only $20 per person includes Bunco, food, drinks, and your chance to win great prizes. If you do not know how to play, there are no worries, a large portion of our guests come not knowing how to play and easily learn while playing with the direction of other players. Extra raffle tickets, as well as our car raffle tickets to win a 2013 Kia Rio with warranty, will also be available for purchase at the event. Payment of cash or credit/debit will be accepted at the door.

We will also accept payment in advance on the Thursday or Friday prior to the event at High Desert Homeless Services Shelter between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. at the shelter, located at 14049 Amargosa Road in the City of Victorville. Payment will also be accepted at High Desert Homeless Services Discount and Thrift Store located at 15626 6th Street in the City of Victorville Tuesday, September 5, 2017, to Friday, September 8, 2017, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

This and all HDHS fundraisers help to support homeless men, women, and children in the community as they work hard to get back into permanent housing. High Desert Homeless Services (HDHS) is a 55-bed homeless shelter serving clients of all ages. Clients stay at the shelter anywhere from 30-120 days, while shelter, food, personal care items, and clothing are provided to them so that they can fully focus on finding permanent housing. HDHS not only provides for the tangible needs of the clients, but also provides assistance with GED preparation, job search, resume building, computer literacy, and numerous workshops in order to assist clients in sustaining and maintaining permanent housing.

For more information on pre-ordering tickets, the event itself, and or sponsorship opportunities call James Wilson at (760) 596-9872.
