LANCASTER, Calif. – A California City man is wanted for questioning regarding the murder of a 61-year-old that occurred in a Jack in the Box parking lot.
On January 3, 2019, Frank Borsotti was murdered after purchasing food from the fast-food restaurant 43600 block of 10th Street West in the City of Lancaster. Mr. Borsotti was returning to his vehicle when he noticed that a vehicle had blocked his vehicle in. On surveillance footage he appeared to ask the people to move in order for him to leave. A male suspect exited the vehicle, hit Mr. Borsotti once, sending him to the ground suffering from major injuries. Mr. Borsotti was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Authorities are now are asking for the public’s help to locate Manuel Berryman, 38, for questioning about the murder of Mr. Borsotti. Berryman is described as a black man, 6’ tall, 300 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He may be driving a silver Chrysler 300. He frequents Lancaster, Gardena, and Hawthorne.
His family is devastated with the loss. Mr. Borsotti leaves behind a wife of 40 years, children, and grandchildren. His family has started a Go Fund Me account for anyone who would like to assist with the funeral costs.
