BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – In celebration of Mahatma Gandhi’s 150th birthday, California State University Bakersfield (CSUB) is having a Festival for Peace and Non-Violence March.
The community-wide event includes live entertainment, food vendors, popular local talent, and a special presentation from Eisha Mason. The event will take place on March 30, 2019, a CSUB located at 9001 Stockdale Highway in the City of Bakersfield at the Don Hart East Lawn.
The event begins at 9:30 a.m. with the Peace March scheduled for 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., live entertainment from 10:45 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Gandhi Revolutionary, Evolutionary Love by Eisha Mason from 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., a book signing with Eisha Mason from 11:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and food trucks and live entertainment from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
