PALM SPRINGS, Calif. – A Cathedral City man was arrested as a result of a large fight in a parking lot in the 600 block of S. Palm Canyon.
At around 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, February 10, 2019, officers were dispatched to the area for a fight between several people. When they arrived the security told them that a handgun was located in the possession of one of the people involved in the fight. Security personnel detained Jair Santiago, 25, after they located a handgun in his possession.
He was arrested for Possession of a Concealed Firearm and Possession of a Loaded Handgun in Public. He was booked at the Smith Correctional Facility in Banning.
