VICTORVILLE, Calif. – A Victorville mother of four was arrested for child abuse after her child went to school with a visible injury.
On Wednesday, March 13, 2019, the elementary school where 34-year-old Desiree Grigg’s children attend noticed an injury on one of the children. After speaking with the child, school administration called Victorville Sheriff’s deputies to speak with the child. “ After investigation and interviews with the children and staff, deputies obtained an arrest warrant for Grigg,” said Victorville Sheriff’s Department Spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez.
Griggs was booked at the High Desert Detention Center and is scheduled to appear at the Victorville Superior Court on Wednesday, March 20, 2019. Meanwhile, her four children were placed into the custody of Child and Family Services.
