VICTORVILLE – A 55-year-year old convicted sex offender is back behind bars for the continuous sexual abuse of a child, Sheriff’s officials said. On Monday the Victorville Police Department received the report indicating that the child had been a victim of the suspect, Curtis Patrick for around 6 years.

Police made contact with Curtis at his Victorville home on the 16500 block of Lindero Street and was taken to the Victorville Police station for an interview. Following the interview and a search of his home, Curtis was arrested and booked into the High Desert Detention Center for continuous sexual abuse of a child, lewd and lascivious conduct with a child under 14, oral copulation, sodomy with a person under 14 and incest.

He is being held in lieu of $350,000 bail and is scheduled for an arraignment hearing on Thursday afternoon. Sheriff officials said in the June 28, 2016, press release that the photo of Curtis is being released, since that there are other victims.

Court records show that Curtis was previously convicted and sentenced to 6 years in prison in May 2001 also for the continuous sexual abuse of a child.
