CORONA – Corona Police are asking for help to identify suspects who were caught on surveillance while burglarizing a Corona home on Tuesday, April 3, 2018. The surveillance footage was captured with a Nest brand surveillance system at around 11:40 a.m. in the 1500 block of Tanglewood Drive in the City of Corona. The resident saw a man in her home via her smartphone app that connects to her home surveillance system.
When the officers arrived at the home, they saw that the back glass patio door had been broken in order for the suspects to enter. The homeowner told police that items were removed from her home, which was corroborated by surveillance footage. Suspect #1 was wearing a hooded sweatshirt with a mask. Suspect #2 was also male and was wearing black Nike sweatpants and a black hooded sweater. Suspect #2 was the suspect who was captured knocking on the front door just before the burglary. The suspect vehicle is described as a small, dark grey sedan with tinted windows.
If anyone recognizes the suspects or the vehicle, please contact Sgt. Todd Gottfried at (951) 279-3761 or via email at Todd.Gottried@CoronaCA.gov
