VICTORVILLE – One deputy and two others were injured after a collision on Palmdale road, just east of Palmdale road on Saturday evening.
At around 5:55 p.m. deputies from the Victorville Station and emergency medical personnel responded to the report of a traffic collision between an Adelanto Sheriff’s Station SUV and a white Chrysler Sebring in the area near the Arco Gas Station and Walgreen’s Pharmacy.
The deputy called in the report stating he was not badly injured but was requesting medical to be expedited for the others involved in the collision. When deputies arrived they found the Chrysler with damage mostly to the front passenger side of the vehicle and the patrol vehicle with major damage to the entire driver’s side of the vehicle.
The two occupants inside the Chrysler Sebring were transported in an ambulance to a local hospital for treatment of undisclosed minor to moderate injuries. The deputy initially declined medical treatment, but was also transported as a precaution. The cause of the collision remains under investigation at this time, but information will be updated when the investigation is complete.
The road was closed in both directions from Palmdale Road and CA-395 to Cantina street.
