Dispose of Expired, Unused, and Unneeded Prescription Drugs April 28th

Spring cleaning time means it is also time to clear the medicine cabinets too!  Cleaning out unused, expired, and unwanted prescription drugs not only sets you free from unnecessary clutter but may even save a life. A free, anonymous, no questions asked opportunity to rid yourself of these old medications is coming to participating locations on Saturday, April 28, 2018, from 10 am to 2 pm.

 

Medicines left in cabinets in homes often lead to misuse and abuse, many times in juveniles. Accidental poisonings and overdoses can be avoided by clearing out cabinets of unneeded medications. Safe disposal is just as important as the disposal with flushing them or tossing them at the trash posing a potential safety and health hazards.
