HESPERIA – An altercation at Encore High School last week led to the arrest of a student on Tuesday, officials said.
Deputies responded to the Phelan home of the 14-year-old male student on Tuesday morning due to the report of criminal threats to several students at Encore High School. According to unconfirmed reports, a list of at least fifteen students were listed as targets of the threatened attack.
The home of the arrested student was extensively searched, where evidence of the threatened attack was located in computer documents and searches. Additional information is forthcoming and will be updated as it becomes available.
