Family Needs Help to Lay Young Man Killed in Lucerne Valley Crash to Rest

LUCERNE VALLEY – A family is reaching out to the community for financial assistance after the life of a 21-year-old man was lost in a traffic collision on Wednesday morning.

Timothy Iborogu, of Lucerne Valley, was on his way to work at around 6:45 a.m when the crash occurred. Iborogu was driving a 2002 Chevy Silverado eastbound on State Route 18 east of Fairlane Road when it collided head on with a cement truck. Iborogu was pronounced dead at the scene. The road closed for several hours for the investigation.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.

The family is now left, not only suffering the loss of their young loved one, but to plan and pay for a funeral. Anyone who would like to financially assist the family during this time can donate through their Go Fund Me account.
