ADELANTO – Six people were displaced on Saturday morning after a fire ripped through an Adelanto home. The San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to multiple reports of a fire in the 11000 block of Lee Avenue that were made just after 5:00 a.m. When they arrived at the scene, firefighters reported that the single-story home was fully involved with all occupants self-evacuated.
A total of fourteen County fire personnel fought the fire knocking it down in approximately 30 minutes. No injuries were reported as a result of the fire. According to county fire officials, the home sustained significant damage, displacing four adults and two children. The Red Cross was called to the scene to provide temporary assistance to the occupants. The cause of the fire remains under investigation at this time.
