ORANGE COUNTY, FL. – Listen to your parents, is a lesson you may want to take from this one.
It appears as though an Orange County, Florida man did not believe that people actually get arrested for pointing a laser light at aircraft, now he is facing felony charges, Orange County Sheriff’s said.
Joshua Simpkins, 24, is being charged with pointing a laser light at a pilot after being caught doing so on Saturday. “Not only is it illegal but it puts our flight crew in grave danger,” Sheriff’s officials said. “Which in turn puts our community in great risk.”
