VICTORVILLE – A Man who was formally a Victorville Softball Coach and currently a Correctional Officer has been arrested for sexually assaulting a minor female.
It was brought to the attention of Sheriff deputies, that an underage female between the age of 15-16 had been sexually assaulted. The suspect identified by authorities as Armando Felix a 42-years-old, resident of Victorville allegedly sexually assaulted the underage teen between the year 2013 and 2014. Felix, who met the teen while coaching her in softball was engaging in an inappropriate relationship with the minor in that time period.A joint effort was put into the Felix investigation, including the Inspector General’s Office, Department of Justice and a Specialized Investigation Division, Crimes Against Children Detail(CAC).
On Monday, July 31, 2017, Felix was arrested and booked into the High Desert Detention Center. Felix was booked for PC 288(c); Child Molestation, PC 288a(b)(2); Oral Copulation and PC 280(i); Penetration with an Foreign Object. Armando Felix bail was set to $100,000 and he is expected to be arraigned on August 2, 2017, in Victorville Superior Court.
