SAN BERNARDINO – A Hesperia man and two Apple Valley women were arrested last Thursday for pimping a 17-year-old girl.
Kristen William Davis, 28, of Hesperia, Ashley DeShae Wimbley, 25,of Apple Valley, and Melissa Katryne Stevenson, 33, of Apple Valley are accused of forcing the victim, an Orange County juvenile into prostitution. The teen was forced to prostitute in both Las Vegas and San Bernardino,according to San Bernardino Police Lt. Mike Madden.
The incidents in San Bernardino, according to the criminal complaint, occurred between October 30, 2016, through November 3, 2016. Davis and Wimbley were arrested on Thursday at 3:15 p.m. near Cottonwood and Main Street in the City of Hesperia. Stevenson was also arrested on Thursday afternoon in the 700 block of North D Street in the City of San Bernardino.
Davis, Wimbley, and Stevenson were booked into the Central Detention Center for human trafficking a minor for a sex act, pandering by procuring a minor over age 16, and pimping a minor 16 years of age or older. Both Davis and Wimbley are being held at the Central Detention Center, Davis in lieu of $285,000 bail and Wimbley in lieu of $175,000 bail.
Stevenson was released on bail on Saturday, November 5, 2016. Davis was previously convicted of pimping in Los Angeles County May 9, 2014, for carrying a loaded firearm in Los Angeles County on June 19, 2007, for possession of methamphetamine in San Bernardino County on October 20, 2008, and domestic violence on May 5, 2010.
