ARCADIA – A 51-year-old Hesperia man is behind bars after allegedly burglarizing an Arcadia home on Saturday evening. Refugio Roy Gomez was after fleeing from a home following a burglary in the 900 block of Sunset Boulevard in the City of Arcadia. Officers arrived to the Arcadia home just after 7:55 p.m. to catch Gomez running from the home.
The police chased Gomez for a short distance, but eventually were able to take him into custody without further incident. Items believed to have been stolen during the burglary were found in Gomez’ possession. Gomez was booked into jail for burglary and is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear at the Pasadena Superior Court on Tuesday, February 7, 2017.
