FONTANA – A 24-year-old man was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle and multiple warrants for his arrest on Tuesday. At around 5:00 p.m. Fontana Police officers located a stolen GMC Yukon. The suspect was known by authorities to be wanted for felony no-bail warrants.
The officer attempted to stop the vehicle, but it continued on leading to a high-speed pursuit. The suspect traveled on the I-15 south and sideswiped a vehicle at the Limonite exit. The suspect continued through the exit, losing control and crashing into a brick wall near Limonite and Pedley. The suspect driver, identified as Adam Luna sustained injuries and was transported to the hospital.
A female passenger who was in the vehicle was located and take into custody a block away. Luna was arrested for active warrants, Grand Theft Auto, Possession of Stolen Property, and Felony Evasion.
