Intoxicated Woman at a Victorville Bar Assaults Female Victim After Being “Cut Off”

VICTORVILLE – A 45-year-old woman became irate after a bartender at Johnny Fingers Bar in Victorville cut her off from any additional drinks on Thursday.

Aretha Green was at the sports bar, located in the 15800 block of Lorene Drive when the bartender told her that she was displaying signs of having consumed more alcohol that was safe. The bartender went on to tell her that she would not be served any additional drinks at that bar for the night and she was asked to leave. “She [Green] became upset and argumentative,” said Victorville Sheriff’s Station spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez.  “She then caused a female patron seated next to her to fall to the ground and began assaulting her.”

The victim was treated at the scene and suffered minor injuries as a result of the incident. Green was arrested just after 2:00 a.m. and booked into the High Desert Detention Center for Battery. She was cited and released at 9:24 a.m. on Thursday morning.
