LONG BEACH – A man who sexually abused and killed his 9-year-old stepdaughter who he raised since infancy was sentenced to 41-years-to-life in prison officials said.
On September 11, 2017, Jacinto Trujillo, 36, of Long Beach pleaded no contest to first-degree murder and oral copulation with a child 10-years-old or younger. The sexual abuse and murder took place on April 27, 2012, when Trujillo was walking hand-in-hand with the girl near Woodruff Avenue and Willow Street in Long Beach. As the pair were walking, he pulled out a razor blade and slashed her neck, killing her. He placed her small bleeding body in the parking lot of a nearby church parking lot. Police responded to the scene and found Trujillo not far from the girl’s body.
When questioned, Trujillo admitted to orally copulating the girl on multiple occasions prior to the murder. In addition to his sentence, Trujillo will also be required to register as a sex offender for life. For late-breaking news, follow 24/7 Headline News on our Los Angeles County Facebook group, Riverside County Facebook group, Coachella Valley News group, US News group, Victor Valley/Inland Empire Facebook group.
