LOS ANGELES, Calif. – A 24-year-old man is being held on $2 million bail after brutally beating his 4-year-old son to death.
On Thursday, June 6, 2019, the suspect was home with his son. No information was provided to determine a possible motive, but district attorney officials said Justin Sontay-Oxlaj was beaten to death. Hirwin Calderon-Ordonez, of Los Angeles faces one count each of murder and assault on a child causing death.
If convicted as charged, Calderon-Ordonez, may face 25 years to life in prison.
