CALIFORNIA CITY – A man was airlifted to a local hospital at around 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 24, 2018, after being mauled by a family dog.
Animal Control, police, and paramedics responded to the 8600 block of South Loop Boulevard reference the dog attack. The victim sustained serious injuries as a result of the attack by the Pit bull. When the Animal Control officer arrived he had to tranquilize the dog in order to capture it. The incident remains under investigation by the California City Animal Control Department.
