BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – A 39-year-old Bakersfield man was arrested for stealing company tools from the oilfield company he works for.
On Thursday, April 25, 2019, the Kern County Sheriff’s Office Rural Crime Investigation Unit received information that Edmundo Carranza was selling company tools on social media. A search warrant was served at Carranza’s home where they located around $1000 worth of company tools. In addition, social media posts selling tools were found by detectives. Carranza was arrested and booked at the Central Receiving Facility for violating PC 503, Embezzlement.
