VICTORVILLE, Calif. – A 37-year-old Victorville man was arrested late Thursday night for kidnapping, robbery inflicting corporal injury, and obstructing a peace officer.
At 10:44 p.m. deputies from the Victorville Station responded to the 15900 block of Molina Drive in the City of Victorville. When they arrived they learned that the female victim and her boyfriend has been involved in an argument. As they argued, Dyeon Sublett, took the keys from the car the victim was sitting in. He then grabbed her cell phone and purse. “He then forcibly removed her from the car and carried her several yards, against her will,” said Victorville Station Spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez. “As deputies arrived, the suspect ran from the scene. He was taken into custody after a short foot pursuit.”
Sublett was booked at the High Desert Detention Center for kidnapping, robbery, inflicting corporal injury, and obstructing a peace officer.
