OILDALE, Calif. – A 57-year-old woman was found deceased in a Kern County home on Thursday morning, officials said.
At around 9:20 a.m., the Kern County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a deceased woman in the home in the 300 block of Sycamore Drive in Oildale. When they arrived they located the woman who died as a result of obvious blunt force traumatic injuries. The victim was identified as Lidia Robertson.
Homicide Detectives were called to the scene and assumed the investigation. Investigation led to the victim’s husband, Nathaniel Robertson, 46, was identified as the suspect. An arrest warrant was issued for the murder of Lidia Robertson.
On Friday, July 12, 2019, at about 8:00 a.m., Nathaniel Robertson was located near Riverview Park in Oildale. He was taken into custody by deputies without incident. Robertson will be booked into the Kern County Jail pending court proceedings.
