RIVERSIDE – A 25-year-old Riverside area transient was arrested for throwing a chair through the front window of a business on Wednesday morning. At around 10:50 a.m. police responded to Simple Simon’s Bakery & Bistro, located at 3639 Main Street in Riverside regarding the vandalism.
When they arrived they got a description of the suspect who witnesses said had fled after destroying the window. During an area check, a subject matching the description of the suspect was located near 3rd and Market Streets. The man, later identified as Kyle Carlson was positively identified by witnesses as the involved suspect.
Carlson was arrested and booked into jail for felony vandalism.
