VICTORVILLE – Deputies from the Victorville station responded to the report of a male suspect forcing his way into a home on the 15500 block of Fresno Street Monday afternoon.
The victim told police that the man knocked on the door and when she opened the door he pushed her aside. He continued inside the home, took a tablet and fled on foot northbound toward Yucca Avenue.
The victim did not know the man’s name or anything about him other than he was an acquaintance of her boyfriend,” said Victorville Sheriff’s Station Spokeswoman, Mara Rodriguez. “The victim’s boyfriend could not be reached.”
A search of the area was done and the suspect could not be located. The investigation is ongoing, anyone with information pertinent to the case can call the Victorville Station at (760) 241-2911.
