The man who scammed people out of over $2400 by selling counterfeit Disneyland tickets on Craigslist pleaded guilty on Thursday.
Brian Edward Anderton, 43, of Pasadena pleaded to one count of grand theft and four misdemeanor counts of Petty theft. He was immediately sentenced to 2 years in jail and was ordered to pay $2430 in restitution officials said.
Anderton advertised the reduced-price tickets on Craigslist over an 8-month period stealing the over $2400 from five people. The five did not know that they were scammed until they arrived at the amusement park with the invalid tickets.
