RIVERSIDE – One man from the City of Orange lost his life after a shooting in the area of Adams and the 91 freeway late Sunday night. At around 10:28 p.m. dispatchers received the report of a 31-year-old male patient of unknown age lying on the ground at the Shell gas station. The victim, later identified as James Duty was near several motorcycles.
Emergency medical personnel arrived to find the man suffering from gunshot wounds to his head and shoulder. The patient was rushed to the hospital where he died as a result of his injuries at the hospital. The City of Riverside Fire officials said that a truck company with a ladder was requested to check the rooftop of the gas station.
