VICTORVILLE, Ca. – Homicide detectives are investigating a shooting of an adult male in the dirt area alongside the 99 cent store parking lot on La Paz and Seventh Street in the City of Victorville.
At around 3:38 p.m. deputies responded to the parking lot for the report of a person who had been shot in the parking lot. When deputies and emergency medical personnel arrived they located the male subject suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Also at the scene was an apparently disabled Buick Park Avenue that was subject to the investigation. The victim was rushed to a local hospital where he died as a result of his injuries.
Sheriff’s officials said that the investigation is ongoing, no suspects are in custody at this time. No other information is available for release at this time.
