VICTORVILLE – Victorville station deputies are seeking information that may lead them to a theft suspect who threatened a Walmart employee with a large dagger on Sunday. On Sunday the suspect, believed to be a Hispanic man, walked into the Walmart store located at 11896 Amargosa Road and began concealing items authorities said. He left the store without paying for the items.
The store’s loss prevention personnel attempted to make contact and detain the suspect when he exited the store but he pulled out a large dagger from his side. He attempted to stab the store employee and swung the dagger around while verbally threatening the employee. The suspect left the location in a green Nissan Altima with paper plates.
