VICTORVILLE, Ca. – Authorities are asking for the public’s help to locate a Victorville man who allegedly murdered his girlfriend and her two sons.
On Wednesday, April 29, 2020, just before 11:00 a.m. deputies from the Victorville Station responded to a home in the 15400 block of Ferndale Road. When they arrived they found signs of a struggle inside the home.The residents of the home were identified as Erlinda Villareal, 42 and Louis Gabriel Lucero, 35. Neither were home when the deputies arrived at the home and neither had been seen or heard from since early that morning. Deputies attempted to locate Lucero but were unable to find him or his silver 2008 Ford Explorer (license plate 6HCF706).
Dispatchers received a 911 call from a person who was off-roading in the desert near Waalew and Corwin Roads. The caller stated that they had located three bodies. Homicide detectives arrived to investigate. It was learned that Villareal and her two sons, 9 and 12, left the home with Lucero. They were murdered at an unknown location and left in the desert where they were found. Lucero is considered armed and dangerous, anyone with information about his whereabouts should contact law enforcement immediately.
The investigation is ongoing and no additional information is available for release at this time.
