While en route the reporting party notified dispatchers that a nurse arrived at the scene and began administering CPR on the motorcyclist who was not moving. Through investigation, it was determined that the 1999 Suzuki GSXR750 motorcycle, driven by Alejandro Gonzalez Paz, was traveling west on Village Drive. The Scion, driven by 46-year-old Love Juan Lipscomb, entered the roadway of Village Drive making a left turn from southbound Oceanside Drive Sheriff’s officials said in the news release. The motorcycle collided with the driver side of the Scion. Medics continued CPR on Gonzalez Paz, who was transported to Victor Valley Global Medical Center, where he died as a result of his injuries.
Village Drive was closed in both directions until around 11:00 p.m. so that the Victorville Station Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) could conduct an investigation. The investigation is ongoing, anyone with information about the collision is requested to contact Deputy C. Wallace or Deputy J. Dean
