Williamsport, PA. – A New York man was indicted for threatening to kill the President of the United States, officials said.
Jesse Allen Blake, 24, of Waverly, New York, was indicted by a federal grand jury on August 22, 2019, for mailing a threatening letter to the FBI Headquarters. The letter sent by Blake, according to the Department of Justice (DOJ) officials that was sent on March 29, 2019, stated that when he was released from Prison, he would be killing President Trump, and blowing up the White House, Trump Tower, The Pentagon, and the United Nations Headquarters.
Blake was in custody at Bradford County Correctional Facility in Troy, Pennsylvania for statutory rape that occured in Pennsylvania. The age of consent in Pennsylvania is 16-years-old, meaning that the juvenile female was under the age of 16 at the time of the sexual
He was arrested in January 2019 and sent the letter threatening the president and blowing up several structures. In addition, in the letter he also threatened to “terrorize the F**K out of America”.
The U.S. Secret Service, FBI Task Force, and the Bradford County Correctional Facility all took part in investigating the case. Blake will face up to 10 years in prison, supervised release, and a fine.
