STOCKTON, Calif. – A newborn baby boy was found in a dumpster in the City of Stockton, authorities said.
At around 11:43 a.m., officers responded to the 5900 block of Village Green Drive for the report of a baby possibly in the dumpster. When they arrived, the reporting party showed the officer the baby wrapped inside the dumpster. The baby boy, who was still alive, was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Stockton Police is asking anyone who may have any information to call 209-937-8377, the Investigations Unit at (209) 937-8323, or Crime Stoppers at (209) 946-0600. Callers can remain anonymous.
