NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif. – An Oxnard Elementary School teacher’s assistant has been charged with inappropriately touching six girls, ages 10 and 11.
Authorities said that the six girls were friends and together reported the incidents to the school administration. Lino Cabrera, 27, of San Fernando, worked at the school’s computer lab, and was charged with engaging in lewd acts with the students at the school from September 2016 to May 2019. He now faces one count of continuous sexual abuse and five counts of lewd act upon a child under 14. He was taken into custody on Wednesday and was arraigned in court pleading not guilty.
