Officer-Involved Shooting in South Gate Leaves Suspect Dead

SOUTH GATE – A suspect is dead after an officer-involved shooting in the City of South Gate on Tuesday morning. The shooting occurred near California Avenue and Santa Ana Street. South Gate Police Department personnel are investigating the incident. No officers were injured during the shooting. There is no information available about what led up to the shooting.
