RANCHO CUCAMONGA – A 30-year-old Ontario man was arrested for bringing drugs into the West Valley Detention Center on Wednesday, officials said. Wilfrido Sartiaguin entered the jail parking lot and according to authorities began driving a black Toyota truck in circles. A deputy became aware of the suspicious activity and made contact with Sartiaguin.
After a brief conversation, the deputy decided to search the Sartiaguin and the vehicle. During the search the deputy located drug paraphernalia and a quantity of methamphetamine. He was arrested and conveniently booked into the West Valley Detention Center for bringing drugs into a jail facility.
Sartiaguin was cited and released later the same day according to county inmate records.
