RANCHO CUCAMONGA – A 39-year-old Rancho Cucamonga man was arrested for child abuse after his 5-month-old daughter was found to have multiple fractured ribs.

On Wednesday, July 11, 2018, the infant was examined at Loma Linda University Medical Center (LLUMC) and was learned to have three fractured ribs. The fractured ribs were found to be in the healing stages and Forensic Pediatricians determined that the injuries were consistent with child abuse. As a result, detectives, from the Sheriff’s Crimes Against Children Detail were summoned to conduct an investigation.
