VICTORVILLE – Four Victorville residents were arrested in connection with a murder of an unidentified woman, whose remains were found in a trash can.
On Sunday, July 8, 2018, at around 7:30 p.m., deputies from the Victorville station responded to a home located at 15866 Sitting Bull Street in the City of Victorville for the report of a deceased body inside a trash can at the location. Deputies responded and requested the Human Remains Detection dog, K9 Ellie. K9 Ellie immediately hit on the trash container authorities said. Deputies investigated her finding and located unidentified skeletal remains inside. The trash can was partially filled with cement
Homicide Investigators were called to the scene to assume the investigation and determined that the victim had been deceased at the location for over a year. They also learned that the suspects were friends of the victim at the time of her death. The Coroner collected the body and is attempting to identify the victim and determine the cause and manner of death.
On Friday, July 13, 2018, detectives located and arrested Lori Rector, 57, of Victorville for Murder and Louis Chacon, 43, and Alphonso Lozano, 36, for accessory to murder. All were booked into the High Desert Detention Center. Jayson Weiss, 31, was already in custody at the West Valley Detention Center on an unrelated charge and has also been booked for murder.
