RANCHO CUCAMONGA – A 37-year-old Rancho Cucamonga man was arrested following a robbery of a Thrifty gas station, located at 9888 Foothill Boulevard in the City of Rancho Cucamonga on Thursday. Store employees reported the at around 9:30 a.m. stating that a robbery had just occurred. Deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga station responded to the scene and interviewed the store clerks.
Through investigation, they learned that the suspect entered the store and demanded money from the employee. The employee, in fear for her safety, opened the cash register for the suspect. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the store. The employee was able to provide information that assisted deputies in obtaining further evidence linking Daniel Carson to the robbery.
With an arrest warrant in hand, Carson was located and arrested in Orange County on Friday morning.
