RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. – Do you have a teen trying to make a difference? Or are you a teen looking to do something that matters? The City of Rancho Cucamonga, along with Healthy RC is inviting high school students to attend the second annual Teen Summit. The Teen Summit is designed to empower teens to make a difference. Teens will learn skills to become catalysts for positive change at home, school, and within their community.
The event will be on Wednesday, March 27, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. To 4:30 p.m. at Central Park, located at 11200 Base Line Road in the City of Rancho Cucamonga. The event is free and will be during spring break. Attendees will receive free breakfast, lunch, and will have a chance to win raffle prizes.Omnitrans coupons are available upon request. Students will learn to build leadership skills that support self-respect and compassion for others. They will learn to explore their world and current issues through engaged and creative learning. They develop character and confidence that encourage and promote effective communication skills, positive goal setting, and a strong foundation for a successful adulthood.
