RIVERSIDE – A guitar instructor from a Riverside music business was arrested for lewd acts with a minor on Thursday authorities said. On July 6, 2017, the Riverside Police Detectives from the Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Unit received the report which led to an investigation into the allegations.
Suspect Nathaniel Hernandez allegedly committed lewd acts with a child under 14-years-old in the Orangecrest area of Riverside. Detectives investigated and submitted the case to the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office. A warrant was issued for Hernandez and on Thursday, July 2017, the Riverside Police Department METRO (SWAT) team located and arrested him in Moreno Valley.
Due to Hernandez being in contact with children, it is believed that there may be other victims.Detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying and contacting any other potential victims.
